Payment, Shipping, & Returns



Accepted payment methods include PayPal and all major credit cards. All credit card payments are processed via PayPal. A PayPal account is not required to make an online purchase.




The following applies to both in-store and online purchases.

We love our gear, and hope you do too. We take great care in providing the best products from the best brands, however if a return or exchange must be made, we ask that you follow a few basic rules as stated below. Thank you for your understanding.

General Return Policy

Items must be in new condition, with tags and accompanied by a receipt. Shoes may not be worn outside. We do not take returns on hard goods (bicycles, skis, snowboards, kayaks, etc...) Christmas and Special sale conditions exist, see below.

All returns must either have a receipt or we must be able to locate the purchase through our records.

All refunds will be reimbursed in the same tender as the original purchase. 

Shipping costs are nonrefundable.

Gift Cards are considered final, and not eligible for return.

Life-protecting and/or weight-bearing equipment (such as ropes, harnesses, and helmets) cannot be returned or exchanged.

Returns by mail

We currently do not offer free return shipping!

We highly suggest you insure your package and get a tracking number for the shipment. You are still responsible for the merchandise while it is in transit until we have received it at the store.

Layaway Policy

Not all items are able to be placed on layaway. Those placed on layaway must be paid off within eight weeks of original transaction. Cancelled layaways will be subject to the greater of a $10 or 10% restocking fee.

Christmas Return Policy

Items purchased after November 1st intended as Christmas gifts must be returned/exchanged within two weeks of Christmas (January 8). Returns/exchanges must by accompanied by a receipt, have tags, and be in new condition.

Huge Sale and Special Sale Policy

Occasionally Bushwhacker holds a special end of season or special sale. During these sales we change our normal 30 day return policy to one or two weeks. Items purchased at our WAREHOUSE SALE must be returned within 1 WEEK of purchase. These items must still have receipts, tags, and be original selling condition.

Warranty Policy

Many of our manufacturers have a standard return and warranty policy which Bushwhacker is happy to support. For a period of one year, items with warranty issues can be brought to our store to be processed through the manufacturer. A $15 service fee for shipping may apply. Warranty items must be accompanied by a receipt. After one year we will provide the customer with a contact from the vendor to pursue warranty coverage.

Service Policy

Any item serviced by Bushwhacker is backed by a 30 day guaranty. This does not cover normal wear and tear.
