Stand Up & Paddle Class June 13th

Learn how to Stand Up Paddle Board! In this 1 hour class, we will learn SUP safety, paddle and turning technique to get you out on the water and up on your board! You must be able to swim to attend this class. We will not be practicing yoga in this class. PFD'S, safety supplies, paddle boards and paddles are provided with class if you choose ‘All Inclusive Class’.

PFD'S, safety supplies, paddle boards and paddles are not provided if you purchase ‘BYOB- Bring Your Own Board’. Class V PFD’s are required on paddle boards in the state of Illinois. Come with your own PFD, or participate at your own risk.

"In store Pick - up" is the only option when purchasing this class.  You do not need to pick anything up from the store, just meet at the park!  This is the only option our website allows for at checkout. 

Here are some tips for making your class the best possible opportunity! IMPORTANT: You must be able to swim to participate in class. If you arrive for class and cannot swim, you will be turned away and no refund will be issued per our cancelation policy. Arrive 15 minutes early so that you can find where class is held, get prepared for class and get on your board to settle in. Your SUP Class is held at Wildlife Prairie Park. 3826 N Taylor Rd, Hanna City, IL 61536. When arriving at Wildlife, drive past the main gate on your left and bike pump track on your right. Pull in and park on your right near the pavilion. Look for SUP signs. Location is subject to change.  You will be contacted via the phone number you give should the location change.  Wait for your instructor out of the water. PFD'S, safety supplies, paddle boards and paddles are provided with class. We look forward to getting you out on the water, see you soon! Gear up, Make tracks!

Cancelation Policy: SUP Classes are non-refundable within 24 hours of class. You may be offered to reschedule to another class later on in the season, but this is on a case by case basis.

Weather Policy: SUP Classes are rain or shine! Although rain cannot hurt us, lightning certainly can. We will not have class if the chance of thunderstorms and lightning are possible. You will get a phone call and an email at least 2 hours before your class time if there is a cancelation. If class is cancelled due to poor weather, you will be rescheduled to another class.

Covid Policy: If you are feeling under the weather, have a fever or any covid like symptoms, do not come to class. Call the store 24 hours before your class to reschedule. 309-692-4812
