XC & Downhill Skiing, kayaking/canoeing, trail running, biking, hiking, camping

What's your favorite product or brand in the store and why?
Patagonia - attractive, functional, durable clothing and the company gives major support to human rights and the environment

What outdoor competitions have you participated in?
Bluenose Half Marathon, Halifax, Nova Scotia 2010

What's your greatest achievement?
Completing 1st Half Marathon and in general not getting stuck in a rut!

What's your nickname and what's the story behind it?
Pooh Bear - My family has a great admiration for bears and my husband thinks I am cuddly

What's a sport/outdoor lesson you learned the hard way?
Be prepared, but PACK LIGHT!

Name the next item you're planning to buy from the store and why?
More Smartwool - it's my baselayer every day during Winter. Really, every day.

What's your most useful advice for someone who's buying a piece of equipment for the first time?
Know how you're going to use it and buy from Bushwhacker - our employees use the equipment they sell and can help you choose wisely

What music do you race to?
1 race does not make me a racer!

What's the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Be reasonable, open-minded, curious, and spontaneous; respect life and all of nature that supports it

What new sport would you like to try and why?
Telemark Skiing - It has been called "the most rhythmic and flowing way to descend a snow covered mountain" Developed in the late 1800's, Telemark embodies for me the grace and beauty that make skiing the most ehtereal of sports.

Favorite outdoor spot?
Anywhere I can ski, kayak, bike, run, hike, or camp. It's all good!
