What outdoor sports do you enjoy?
Mountain biking, trail running, skiing, kayaking, building campfires.

What's your favorite product or brand in the store and why?
Anything with two wheels. My favorite is usually the latest new item I've been shown.

What outdoor competitions have you participated in?
Trans Iowa (an endurance gravel road event), 24 hours of 9 Mile, Snowgaine Oreinteering, I74 Mountain Bike Series.

What's your greatest achievement?
Commuting 3 days a week 17 miles each way.

What's a sport/outdoor lesson you learned the hard way?
Know the height of your vehicle with four bikes on top.

Tell us how you went out of your way to help a customer.
I drove to Chicago to deliver a custom bicycle.

Name the next item you're planning to buy from the store and why?
Road bike pedals and shoes, Apparently, it isn't appropriate to use my old mountain bike stuff on my road bike.

What's your most useful advice for someone who's buying a piece of equipment for the first time?
You will use what your most comfortable with, and enjoy it more when doing so.

What music do you chill to?
The sound of the wind in the trees.

What music do you race to?
Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Pussy Cat Dolls.

What's the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Keep it Simple Stupid.

What new sport would you like to try and why?
Ultra Trail Marathons, Triathlons — I want to be faster than Dirk.
